Steve Madden wants YOU!

We all know diamonds are a girls best friend and shoes definitely come in close so I'm guessing many people will jump at the chance to enter this competition!
Designer Steve Madden has teamed up with Zappos.com in order to create a 'sole search' where budding designers or basically anyone can send in their own shoe designs. Three lucky winners will win a trip to LA followed by a trip to New York where they'll have to pitch their shoe to Madden. The winning design will be sold on Zappos.com
Sounds like fun and like a fashionista's version of Dragons Den. Girls and boys you've got to put your soul in to creating the perfect sole!

The Big Bang of Peter Pilotto

Avant-garde designer Peter Pilotto must feel like a very lucky man. The Austrian/Italian designer who hasn't been on the scene very long is making waves in the fashion world. Peter and his partner, Christopher De Vos are gaining clients fast, last week in New York, the first lady, Michelle Obama showed her off her stylish ways by wearing a Pilotto piece. Sienna Miller was also seen in the city that never sleeps wearing a Pilotto dress. Seeing public figures wearing new designer's generates more people to trust a brand and not to constantly play it safe by sticking to classic designers. If things carry on this way 2010 will definitely be the year of Peter Pilotto.
The unique creations with subtle splashes of colour are inspired by the big bang theory. With an artistic use of colour and flattering draped asymmetric style Pilotto is quickly becoming high in-demand by people from all around the world.
I wonder what the high street will attempt to mimic this explosive designer?

What's Heidi's Secret?

Heidi Klum must be superhuman. On Thursday, after just five weeks of giving birth to baby number four, the 36-year-old supermodel strutted her fabulous body down the Victoria's Secret runway.
The annual show which was held in New York was presented by Heidi who is usually one of the favourite models in the show. However, the German model wowed the audience as she unexpectingly began to walk down the runway in a deep purple and green corset with ruffles of cream tulle which created what could be described as an underwear dress designed by Jane Law.
Heidi explained that after having her newest edition to the family it was nice change to host the show instead of model completely.
"You definitely have less pressure hosting, when you don't shake your booty in front of millions of people around the world" she giggled to CNN.
The  mother usually wears the most elaborate creation however this year it was Melissa Miller who wore the dazzling diamond encrusted $3,000,000 bra.
